Mudiro Academy / College in Kavango East

The aim of the academy is for Swiss specialists with professional experience to teach local doctors in Namibia on various topics coordinated with the university and the Ministry of Health. Within five years, 300 to 400 employees of the Namibian healthcare system should be able to attend medical training for weeks in the north of the country. The courses last between one and five days and each have a theoretical and a practical part. In the long term, the responsibility and operation of the academy will be handed over to local doctors or the university.
