District Hospital Andara

Andara is located about 200 km east of Rundu.

Andara District Hospital is a Catholic state hospital located directly on the Kavango River in the Kavango East region. The hospital has 120 beds and is usually cared for by 2-3 doctors as well as 19 nurses. It has the following departments:

• OPD (outpatient treatments, similar to a doctor’s office in Switzerland)
• Emergency (365 days, 24 hours)
• Men’s, women’s, tuberculosis, child, and maternity ward
• X-ray station
